Many Live Interviews This Week

There are many interviews this week (10 AM & 6:30 PM) at hard-working Marfa Public Radio. These include talks with (Monday) park ranger Roger Siglin; (Tuesday) musicians Adrian & The Sickness, dancer Nina Martin; (Wednesday) writer Michael Wiegers, another installment of the Back To Work series, with Chuy Calderon of Valentine; (Thursday) musician Philip Gibbs, artist Robert Perry on the Indian art of Woody Crumbo, a tequila expert from Republic of Tequila, and musician Jonathan Byrd; (Friday) writer Fae Ng, and artist Camp Bosworth, and three rock bands from China (special, at 3:30 PM.)

 Together we did it! Thanks to all our new and renewing members who helped KRTS achieve it's $70,000 goal for it's Spring Membership Drive. Thanks to all!

Kay Burnett Challenge a Success!

Thanks to everyone who participated in Thursday's matching funds challenge offered by Kay Burnett of Alpine. KRTS had one of its most successful fundraising days ever, raising $14,000 for the station. 

We're still $10,000 shy of our $70,000 Spring Membership Drive goal, so please renew your membership today. Friday is Day 7 of our 10-Day Drive.
