The ranch, which lies in the path of the Trump administration’s planned border wall, has been involved in construction activities getting underway in the region.

The administration is once again bypassing federal environmental laws to speed up construction on border barriers and related infrastructure – this time for a project in Big Bend National Park and a nearby state park. Two more cases of the New World screwworm have been confirmed in Texas, demonstrating the difficulty of stopping the spread of a pest that potentially could devastate the nation’s cattle industry.
