This past year Marfa Public Radio participated in the American Graduate initiative. It was called the KRTS Youth Media Project, and it featured radio stories written, produced, and edited by Marfa High School students.
This was part a nationwide public media effort to address high school dropouts and other education concerns on television and radio. Area schools took notice. One of them was Presidio High School. Zane Brzezinski reports for KRTS News.
