Tune in to KRTS 93.5 FM this Saturday (August 11) at 6 PM for "The Fastest on Earth," a special from IEEE Spectrum Radio. Olympic Gold Medal winner and world record holder Usain "Lightning" Bolt is the fastest human on Earth, but what's the fastest fish? Fastest car? Fastest train? To explore what’s fastest on earth, IEEE Spectrum Radio roamed the globe to check out speedy things on wheels, tracks, legs or wings, and in the water. They visited England to see a supersonic car, South Korea for the world’s fastest elevator, Shanghai for a magnetically levitated train, Florida for the swiftest helicopter, the Netherlands for a record-setting bike, France’s Brittany coast for a winged boat that sails faster than the wind, and more.
