Manning Plea Offer Another Odd Piece Of An Odd Case
Bradley Manning, the Army private accused of giving information to the website WikiLeaks, is expected in court on Tuesday. Manning denies being a spy and recently offered to plead guilty to minor charges. This is just one more oddity in a case some describe as "bizarre."

UPDATE: Former CIA Officer Pleads Guilty In Leak Case
John Kiriakou was accused of leaking the identity of a covert operative involved in the high value terrorist detention program and of lying to the FBI. In a plea deal, most charges were dropped. He will serve a 2 1/2 year prison sentence.
White House Dismisses Constitutional Challenge In Debt Ceiling Saga
White House spokesman Jay Carney put an end to intense speculation Thursday about whether President Obama would do an end run around Congress with one simple line: "This administration does not believe the 14th Amendment gives the president the power to ignore the debt ceiling — period."
The FBI's Role In The Petraeus Investigation
Members of Congress say they'll investigate why the FBI and Justice Department didn't tell them earlier about an investigation involving former CIA Director David Petraeus. But the legal authority for reporting such sensitive information to lawmakers is murky.
