Craig Fridley of Austin won the drawing for an expedition into the Big Bend - by canoe or jeep - provided by Angell Expeditions.
Mr. Fridley's name was drawn by random by intern Travis Bubenik during the Classical Midday show hosted by Roseland Klein. Anyone who donated online during the first three days of the Drive, or contacted us to be in the drawing, was automatically entered.
Tour guide Charlie Angell remarked, "Count on me every year for the Pledge Drive." KRTS recently spoke with last year's winner of the expedition, a man from Marfa named Jim, who enjoyed his tour.
