The Marfa Shorthorns (1-2) will seek to bounce back from last week’s loss to Balmorhea as they travel to Sierra Blanca to take on the Vaqueros (2-1.)
Fresh off a win at Fabens last week, the undefeated Alpine Fightin’ Bucks hosts Anthony on Friday. This weekend is a by week for Sul Ross Lobos football, but the university’s rodeo team heads to Portales, New Mexico tomorrow (Saturday, September 22) for its first event of the fall, a weekend long competition against Eastern New Mexico University.
The Alpine Fightin' Ladybucks volleyball travels to Marfa on Saturday, after the Ladybucks JV team won against Sonora this past Tuesday (September 18), while Fort Davis heads to Big Lake to take on the Regan County Owls.
