Then on Monday, from 10:30 AM to 1 PM, in keeping with the solemn recognition of September 11, Classical Midday will begin with Aaron Copeland's "Fanfare for the Common Man," then Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings." The centerpiece of the program will be Johannes Brahms's "A German Requiem," followed by Mendelssohn's "Songs without Words."
