Thursday @ 8 PM: A grassland wildfire northeast of Marfa is moving west with the wind. The fire is burning on ranchland about 6 miles north and 6 miles east of Marfa. No fire crews visible on the scene at this time.
Update 9:30 PM: That's the South Haystack Mountain depicted in the photo. The fire began on the Catto Gage Ranch.
Update 11:30 PM: Fire contained, thanks to local fire crews and ranchers.
