The first Saturday of every month at noon, KRTS features the interview program The Spark. Grammy-nominated singer songwriter Tift Merrit hosts the program, and her guest on Saturday is author Simon Van Booy. He’s the author of two collections of short stories, and Van Booy’s first novel, entitled Everything Beautiful Began After, comes out this month.

Also Saturday on KRTS, hear Joe Nick Patoski's Texas Music Hours of Power from 7 to 9 PM.
