On Tuesday evening, KRTS Spoke to Ed Brown, spokesman for the Trans-Pecos Fire Complex team, based in Midland. He updated public radio listeners on the three fires burning in Brewster County, as well as on the Matt Loop Fire in Howard County.

The Holland Gage Fire is 90% contained, with 4,555 acres burned, and one residence lost.

The Iron Mountain Fire is 25% contained, with 15,675 acres burned, and 20 structures threatened.

The Schwartz Fire is 25% contained with 30,226 acres burned, and no structures threatened.
