Fire now being called the Holland Gage Fire. They corrected it as the Gage Holland Fire on Monday.
Hwy 90 closed between Alpine and Marfa. Route 1703 also closed.
Earlier this afternoon, Brewster County Sheriff called for evacuation of Sunny Glen.
Brewster Country Sheriff Department are now "suggesting" evacuations for Moseley Loop area and the Grey Addition, on the west end of Alpine.

In separate wildfire news... crews took initial action on the Schwartz Fire about 5 PM on Saturday (May 7). This fire is still active (Sunday) and located 20 miles east of Marathon, Texas. It's burning in rugged terrain on the Brewster/Pecos county line.
4:30 PM Brewster County Sheriffs' Department now calling for a Mandatory Evacuation in Alpine, from Moseley Lane to the west. The Alpine Civic Center is open to evacuees.
