McDonald Observatory Observing

Frank Cianciolo of the McDonald Observatory stayed up until 5 AM to take some of these images. He explains these as "good news" images, because:
(Fire officials) managed to do burn-offs of much of Black and Spring Mountains to the north of the Observatory. With the burning of Guide Peak the night before these latest burns radically reduce the chance of more break-out fires like we had on Black on Sunday afternoon.
