Earlier this evening, the Forestry Service alerted AEP to stand by in case they needed AEP to de-energize a key line between Barilla Junction to Alamito Creek, but it's 10:30 PM and there has been no order issued.
Earlier this evening, around 8:30 AM, KRTS reported that the Roper Fire in Brewster County was contained. Thanks to all the fire crews, public safety, and electric company workers.
