This wildfire is approximately one mile north of the Highway 67\90 intersection, which is east of Alpine. Highway 67 North (from Hwy 90) to Fort Stockton is now closed. The wildfire there is about 5 miles long, and at its closest point to Highway 67 - it is 25 yards from the road. This fire is extremely active. Emergency crews are currently on the scene.
