Here's your recap of highschool and college sports across the Trans-Pecos and Permian Basin over the past weekend.

Starting off in the Trans-Pecos, the Alpine Fightin' Bucks earned back a winning record by defeating the Reagan County Owls 47-14.  The Fort Stockton Panthers weren't so fortunate, losing their 7th straight game this week against the Clint Lions.  The Marfa Shorthorns lost as well, falling 66-6 in their game against the Strawn Greyhounds.  The Sierra Blanca Vaqueros lost in a tough match against the Sanderson Eagles, with the Vaqueros crumbling 62-14.  The Fort Davis Indians and the Van Horn Eagles both had the week off.

In the Permian Basin Six-Man Football, the Crane Cranes remain undefeated, handing the Stanton Buffaloes their first loss of the year in a 41-21 game.  The Monahans Loboes also won, defeating the Wylie Bulldogs 25-7.  Finally, the Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys shut out the Dell City Cougars 48-0.

In Permian Eleven Man, the Midland Lee Rebels defeated the Midland Bulldogs in a close 34-28 game, handing the Rebels their fifth straight win.  The Permian Panthers were crushed 43-7 in their game against the  7-1 San Angelo Central Bobcats.

The Sul Ross Loboes football team lost yet again this week, losing 16-41 to the Texas Lutheran University Bulldogs for the Loboes fifth loss in their winless season.

The Sul Ross Loboes women's volleyball team wasn't any more fortunate, losing in four sets to the University of Texas at Dallas, and losing in three to Hardin Simmons University.
