As the government shut-down continues, the majority of the national discussion has focused around eight hundred thousand federal employees who have been forced into an unpaid furlough. But many private citizens, like Greg Henington of Far Flung Outdoor Center in Terlingua, own businesses that rely on government institutions as well, and those businesses are facing increased difficulties given the recent troubles.
