Writer Marion Barthelme of Houston, a longtime and frequent presence in Far West Texas, died on Tuesday (March 22). She is survived by her husband, Jeff Fort. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 31, at 4PM, at the Rothko Chapel in Houston. Donations can be made in her memory to The Menil Collection.
